Step 1                         

The first step to being a leader is to create an account in YOUR name (not your child's)on the My Scouting Website Then login

Step 2  

After you have logged in to my.scouting.org you will see a link for the Safe Guarding Youth Training. You must take this training, complete it, then screenshot your Certificate of completion, and just to be safe, print your Certification as well, Council will NOT even look at your application unless you complete this.

Step 3  

Once you have completed the above the next place to visit is Pack 5's my scouting page then click on the Adult Volunteers and hit start.

Once you start you will have to fill out the Basic information Page a background page and then pay the background check fee.
